The beautiful real estate agent, Carmen Colson (Diane Lane) together with her husband named Wayne (Thomas Jane) with whom she is on the verge of a divorce, suddenly find themselves in the Federal Witness Protection program after Carmen catches a glimpse of a professional hit man named Armand 'The Blackbird' Degas (Mickey Rourke) carrying out a job. Unfortunately for the couple, one of Blackbird's rules is never to allow any witnesses alive. It will take more than the Federal agents to protect them from the paranoid Blackbird. The couple has to find an alternative in order to stay alive and safe from the clutches of him and his partner Richie Nix (Joseph Gordon-Levitt). |
