At the height of power for the Third Reich in WWII, Lt. Aldo Raine (Brad Pitt), an American born Jew, leads a group of fellow Jewish soldiers through Europe on a mission to slay and disfigure any Nazi scum they come across. Meanwhile, Shosanna Dreyfus (Mélanie Laurent), a Jewish cinema operator who barely escaped death at the hands of the Nazis’ during an earlier part of the war, is lusted over by a hero of the German army in occupied France. As he leverages his position to try and win her affection, she spots an opportunity within his efforts to avenge her murdered family, inadvertently crossing paths with Lt. Raine as he embarks on a similar mission. |
