“Dinner for Schmucks” is the hilarious story about Tim (Paul Rudd), an up and coming executive who works for Lance Fender (Bruce Greenwood). Tim finds himself invited to Lance’s annual ‘dinner’ event. The event is a celebration of idiocy as each invited guest is permitted to bring a plus one. Whoever has the dumbest plus one at the event wins. This all happens just as Tim meets Barry (Steve Carell), a man who just happens to be the perfect candidate for this dinner! However at the last minute Tim begins to question his motives and that of why he was invited in the first place as he evaluates his friendship with Barry. |
