After his latest job in Sweden turns sour real fast, Jack (George Clooney) begins to have second thoughts of his choice profession. After informing his boss, Pavel (Johan Leysen) that he is only good for one more job, Jack is sent to Italy where he finds that a twisted farewell party has been planned for him. Jack finds friends in the most unlikely of places with Father Benedetto (Paolo Bonacelli) and a would-be romance with a local woman named Clara (Violante Placido) as everything else around tells him that he may never find the peace of mind from his current job and that retiring may indeed mean death. |
