After Joshua "J' Cody (James Frecheville) watches his mother die of a heroine overdose, he is left with no choice but to contact his grandmother Janine Cody (Jackie Weaver) for a place to live. Upon J's arrival he learns of his relatives and their not-exactly-legal means for getting money. Not too long after he finds himself in the middle of a dangerous situation with Melbourne's Armed Robbery Squad hot in the pursuit of his relative Andrew "Pope" Cody (Ben Mendelsohn) which is only exacerbated by the drug peddling of his other relative, Craig Cody (Sullivan Stapleton) who is dealing drugs on the side. |
