Cold, efficient, brutal. That's the 'Mechanic' (Jason Statham), a professional assassin with a strict code; don't make it personal, don't get attached. But can Bishop stay detached, when his mentor and friend Harry (Donald Sutherland) is killed? Now Bishop is after the men who murdered Harry, and he wants them dead; but he's not the only one... Harry's son Steve (Ben Foster) wants to learn Bishop's trade, and settle with his father's killers. Now the cold professional and the hothead apprentice have to team up for vengeance.
