Roland Bozz is a young conscript in the US Army who joins up with a platoon of other young soldiers to fight in the Vietnam War. Before they can engage in active service they are required to undergo a period of time training at a camp named ‘Tigerland’. Hating everything that the Vietnam War stands for, Bozz attempts to get himself discharged by breaking all of the rules and becoming a troublemaker. However, his superior officers see his mischievous attempts as something that can be turned to their advantage. When Bozz is shipped to Vietnam for active duty, his character takes a turn for the better and manages to unite his men with extraordinary consequences. |
