“The Social Network” is the story of Mark Zuckerberg (Jesse Eisenberg) who with the help of his college roommate, Eduardo Saverin (Andrew Garfield) created a database for ranking female college students. The website is called “FaceMash” and it earns Mark academic probation but also the attention of the Winklevoss twins, Cameron (Armie Hammer) and Tyler (Armie Hammer) who have developed their own website, Harvard Connection. Mark now has a job. As Mark’s website idea grows, he develops “Face Book” with the help of Eduardo and the funding of the Winklevoss twins. But when “Facebook” grows too big and shows to be something worth making money of off; Mark takes it for himself and pushes out both his friend and his initial investors. |
